Plastic Free Compostable Infuser Tea Bags

Discover a new way to enjoy loose-leaf tea—without compromising on quality or your health. Our plastic-free, plant-based compostable tea bags are crafted from corn, providing a natural, eco-friendly solution for tea lovers who care about what they consume and the planet they live on. Why Plastic-Free Matters Did you know that many standard tea bags contain up to 25% plastic? This plastic not only prevents the bag from fully composting but can also release billions of microplastic particles into your cup when exposed to hot water. A 2019 study by McGill University revealed that steeping a single plastic tea bag at brewing temperatures can release approximately 11.6 billion microplastics and 3.1 billion nanoplastics into your tea. These particles are tiny enough to be ingested, posing potential health risks, including inflammation, hormonal disruption, and long-term effects that are still being studied. With our plant-based tea bags, you never have to worry about ingesting microplastics. They're completely plastic-free, made from natural corn fibres that release nothing but the pure flavours of your tea. Sustainability You Can Sip On Our compostable tea bags are designed with both you and the environment in mind: Biodegradable and Compostable : Once you're done, simply dispose of the tea bag in your home compost or green waste bin.
