Nura Velvet — Handcrafted Doll

Meet Nura , a radiant and graceful member of SilaiWali’s Premium Collection. Dressed in a traditional Afghan cotton velvet dress richly adorned with zari embroidery and mirror work, Nura celebrates the artistry and spirit of cultural heritage. Her hand-crocheted jewellery, made with golden zari thread, adds a delicate shimmer that evokes the joy of festive gatherings and the beauty of timeless tradition. Handcrafted by Afghan refugee women in New Delhi using upcycled fabric waste from the fashion industry, Nura stands as a symbol of resilience, creativity, and hope.
