220W Monocrystalline Solar Panel PV Module for Home & Commercial Rooftop

With a 21.6 V open-circuit voltage and 12.96 A of short-circuit current, this module is built to deliver high current into a 12 V bank rather than high voltage into a string — a good fit for off-grid sites that prioritise battery charging over long cable runs. Where it fits best Off-grid homes running pumps and refrigeration Replacing a pair of 100 W panels with one unit and less wiring Solar water pumping for smallholder irrigation Questions buyers ask Why is the current so high for this size? The cell layout favours current over voltage, which charges a 12 V bank efficiently through an MPPT controller but means you should keep cable runs short to limit voltage drop. What cable size should I run? For a typical 3-5 m run at this current, 4 mm² solar cable keeps losses acceptable. Longer runs should step up to 6 mm².
