ZoeM Rosehip & Strawberry Lip Balm

Lightens discolored lips and protects them from sunburn. ZoeM Skin Essentials Rosehip & strawberry lip balm is  high in  vitamin C and salicylic acid, removes dead skin cells. It contains gentle natural exfoliators from strawberries which are very effective when used on the thin, delicate skin on our lips, soothing and moisturizing them. The top corneum layer of regular skin has 15 to 16 layers mainly for protection. The top corneum layer of the lip contains about only 3 to 4 layers and very thin compared to the typical face skin. The lip skin contains very few melanin cells. Because of this, the blood vessels more clearly appear  through the skin of the lips - giving a lovely pinkish color to the lips. The lip skin has no hair follicles and no sweat glands. Therefore it does not have the sweat and body oil in protecting the lip from outside environment. Rosehip Seed oil contributes effectively to a synergistic effect with antioxidants, antiaging, anti-inflammatory herbs in imparting deep lip moisturization and protection from UV. Strawberry Extract is  packed with alpha-hydroxylic acid that can help get rid of dead lip skin cells revealing younger pinker lips.
