Natural Rattan Flat Cane Wicker Pith Spline for Furniture Repair

The rattan flat cane core spline is widely used for weaving, rattan chair restoration, basket making, furniture repairs, and creative up-cycling projects. It is a versatile natural material suitable for both professional restorers and DIY use. Popular Uses Chair Repair & Furniture Restoration Ideal for repairing rattan chairs, replacing damaged cane binding, restoring cane furniture frames, and covering staples or nails for a neat professional finish. Weaving & Craft Projects Suitable for weaving around timber, wire, or metal frames to create chair seats, chair backs, baskets, lampshades, and decorative pieces. Edging & Trim Work Commonly used as finishing trim to secure rattan webbing and tidy exposed furniture edges. How to Use For best flexibility, soak the flat cane in water (10- 15 minutes) before use. This makes the rattan easier to bend and weave. As it dries, the cane tightens naturally and may shrink slightly, helping create a firm secure finish.
