Monk Fruit without Erythritol

What is monk fruit sweetener? The Sweet Change monk fruit sweetener is a zero-sugar, zero-calorie sugar substitute made from monk fruit (luo han guo) extract, sold in India as drops and as a powder, with no erythritol in either. The fruit is a small green melon whose sweetness comes from compounds called mogrosides rather than from sugar. The extract is many times sweeter than sugar by weight, so you measure a serving in drops or in a small spoon. Whether you type it as monk fruit sweetener or monkfruit sweetener, this natural monk fruit sweetener is the product behind both spellings. Why choose a monk fruit sweetener without erythritol? Read the label on many monk fruit sweeteners sold in India and erythritol appears first. The Sweet Change Drops list three ingredients: monk fruit extract, RO purified water and vitamin C. The Powder lists monk fruit, allulose and prebiotic guar fibre. Whether you searched for monk fruit sugar, a no erythritol monk fruit sugar or a monk fruit sweetener without erythritol, the product is the same, and the ingredient list is short enough to read on the pack. Liquid monk fruit drops or monk fruit powder? Pick the drops if you sweeten beverages.
