Product details
In medieval Europe, there was a belief that mustard was a potent aphrodisiac. As a result some monks were forbidden to eat mustard, lest they fall prey to carnal desires.
Other monasteries embraced mustard-making and turned it into an art form. We salute these "lusty monks."
Lusty Monk “Original Sin” Mustard: how mustard is supposed to taste. This old-style, coarse-ground, original recipe mustard will add a kick to anything you can put on a plate. It’s habit forming. Really.
More About the Original Mustard:
The Original is a grainy, pumped-up, spicy deli mustard. It’s a must with charcuterie and livens up any cheese plate. It’s the pretzel’s best friend, the cook’s secret weapon, the perfect companion for lovers of spice and heat. Versatile: At its raw, searing best when used cold, it mellows when used in cooked sauces. Efficient: A little goes a long way. Use it wherever a recipe calls for a strong mustard.
