Custom Self-Sealing OPP Bags

Custom self-sealing OPP bags are flat, clear bags with an integrated adhesive flap. After the product is loaded, the release liner is removed and the flap folds onto the bag body for a quick manual closure without a heat sealer. EKA manufactures clear and custom printed self-sealing OPP bags in BOPP/OPP, OPP+CPP, PP and Iridescent Film+CPP. Choose permanent adhesive for a one-time closure or resealable adhesive when the bag needs to be opened and closed more than once. Custom sizes range from 2.5 × 2.5 cm to 120 × 120 cm, with thicknesses from 25 to 80 microns in 5-micron increments. Bag dimensions, flap length, adhesive position, print coverage and film structure can be matched to the product and packing process. Typical production lead time is 7–15 business days after the specifications and artwork are approved. These bags are commonly marketed as self-sealing cellophane bags or self-seal cello bags. Standard OPP/BOPP is polypropylene rather than true regenerated-cellulose cellophane; true cellophane can be quoted separately on request.
