Cardamom Pods - Bag 65g

Add our organic green cardamom pods to Middle Eastern inspired curries and stews for a sweet and aromatic flavour or with cinnamon to pastries, sweet breads and custards. Making your own chai tea spice blend? Cardamom is a must! It's also a great way to spice up your morning espresso. Although used more widely in the Middle East and Asia than in North America, cardamom is great for both sweet and savoury dishes. Try adding it to your rice pudding for a delicious and unique flavour. The harvest of each single cardamom pod requires much care and knowledge.   Each pod is harvested when it's exactly three-quarters ripe and then carefully washed and dried.
