It's predominant chemical is Linalool which gives it a gentle, woody character. It is reported to possess anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antibacterial properties. These properties make it a useful addition to skin care formulations to control breakouts and pimples. It also has mild skin tightening and anti-ageing properties.
