Zuri the Zebra — Upcycled Plush Animal

Celebrating the Heroes Who Build Our World Meet Zuri the Zebra , a bold and inspiring member of Silaiwali's Premium Collection 2026. Dressed in a vibrant orange workwear jumpsuit with reflective safety bands, Zuri pays tribute to the dedicated workers whose skill and commitment keep our cities moving. Her practical uniform transforms this graceful zebra into a symbol of resilience, hard work, and pride in every task. Lovingly handcrafted by Afghan women refugees in India using upcycled textile remnants, Zuri is more than a doll—she is a celebration of dignity in labour, sustainable design, and exceptional craftsmanship. Every stitch reflects Silaiwali's belief that beauty can be created from what was once discarded, while providing meaningful livelihoods to skilled artisans rebuilding their lives. Whether displayed as a collector's piece, gifted to someone who values purposeful design, or cherished as a reminder that every profession deserves recognition, Zuri inspires us to honour the people who make our communities stronger every day.
