Scholar's Secret - Supreme Ceremonial Matcha

One of the strongest ceremonial matcha in our range. Versatile and delicious. Samidori single origin. First harvest, stone-milled direct from Uji. Bold. Rich. Doesn't Disappear in Milk. Velvety smooth notes throughout. Strong vegetal green tea taste with a rich savoury (umami) depth that coats your mouth and lingers. No bitterness. No grassy harshness. No fishy aftertaste. Only a full, clean, strong matcha flavour with a sweet finish. Where lighter matcha gets lost when you add milk, Scholar's Secret stays grounded. Complimenting the flavours that comes through oat, almond and full-cream milks. That makes it one of the best ceremonial matchas for lattes, because you're tasting the matcha, not just a green tea flavoured milk. On its own with hot water, it's full-bodied and satisfying. There's enough going on that you don't need sugar or sweetener — the natural sweetness and umami carry it. The texture is smooth and silky. No grittiness. Froths well with a bamboo whisk or electric frother. Tasting notes: Bold green tea. Rich savoury (umami). Lingering sweetness. Clean finish. Zero bitterness. Body: Full — with a commanding aura. Strong but not overwhelming. Bitterness: None. The strength comes from flavour depth, not harshness.
