Quinoa, White, Wild Rose Farm

Farmer Blake Richard has been cultivating quinoa in the Humboldt and Mendocino regions since 1992. White Quinoa has a slightly nutty, earthy flavor and lightly crunchy texture. High in protein, fiber, and antioxidants, quinoa is naturally gluten-free and easy to digest. The farm specifically grows and sources beautiful white quinoa, used in products like Quinoa Tempeh Burgers. Quinoa is also rich in vitamins E, B2, B6, folic acid, manganese, copper, iron, potassium, and magnesium. Cooking instructions: Rinse 1 cup of quinoa thoroughly in ample running water, Boil 1½ cups water or broth and add rinsed quinoa and ½ tsp salt (optional). Simmer on low with cover for 15 minutes.
