Pumice is a naturally occurring volcano rock that is light, porous and contains minerals such as iron, magnesium and silicon. These stones have been ground into a superfine powder which is excellent as an exfoliant in creams, lotions and scrubs for areas such as face, feet and elbows to assist in the removal of dead skin cells.
