Lady Fuku - Yame Ceremonial Matcha

A matcha with nutty notes you won't find in Uji matcha. First Harvest. Farm-direct from the tea fields of Yame. Nutty. Smooth. Rich. A Unique Flavour Profile You Won't Find Elsewhere. Grown in Yame, Fukuoka, a renowned tea region with idyllic soil and climate. The result is a flavour profile you won't get anywhere else in our range: nutty cocoa notes, a balanced bitterness, and a subtle sweetness that sits behind the stronger flavours. The bitterness is up front and deliberate. Unharsh nor sharp. Similar to dark chocolate or black tea. It's a refreshing, uplifting bitterness. Behind that, a light savoury (umami) quality with hints of sweetness appear when you pause to pay attention. The balance of bitter, sweet, and savoury is what makes this matcha interesting and loveable. Each sip gives you complexity to pick apart for enjoyment. The nutty, bitter, sweet and savouriness makes this matcha especial for lattes. There is a coco, chocolate-like depth that pairs well with milk without losing character. Tasting notes: Nutty. Light bitterness. Subtle sweetness. Light savoury (umami). Smooth, clean finish. Body: Light to medium — refreshing and snappy, not heavy. Bitterness: Light and refreshing. Balanced by hints of sweet and nutty notes. Sold on Premium Ceremonial Matcha (https://greencaffeine.co/products/princess-fuku-yame-ceremonial-matcha).
