L-Glutamine Powder UK – Pure Unflavoured Vegan 100g

One ingredient, nothing else. 100g of pure, unflavoured L-glutamine powder , fermented from glucose — so it is suitable for vegans, vegetarians, halal and kosher diets. No sweeteners, no flavourings, no fillers, no capsule shell. Why Fermented From Glucose Matters Amino acid powders are commonly produced from animal-derived or dairy-derived material. This L-glutamine is fermented from glucose instead, which is what makes it suitable for plant-based, halal and kosher diets — and it is worth checking on any amino acid product, because most brands don't state their source. It is also genuinely unflavoured. There is no real taste, so it mixes into water, juice, a protein shake or food without changing it. What L-Glutamine Actually Is Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. There are twenty — twelve the body can make (non-essential) and eight that must come from the diet (essential). Glutamine is the most abundant free amino acid in muscle cells , and is traditionally classed as non-essential. It is also described as "conditionally essential" after critical illness, stress and injury. The body's own glutamine levels can come under strain during periods of metabolic stress — injury, illness, and even severe emotional distress — which is when supplementation is typically considered. The "L" stands for levo , meaning left. Many molecules exist in two mirror-image forms, like your left and right hands. Glutamine's mirror image is D-glutamine ( dextro , right).
