Chicken Gizzards – Pasture-Raised Organ Meat for Cooking 1 lb

These are raw chicken gizzards from our pasture-raised birds — raised outdoors and rotated daily to fresh grass. No confinement, no antibiotics, and no bleach dips. Gizzards are a traditional organ meat used in many cuisines. They have a firm texture and rich flavor when slow-cooked, braised, or pressure-cooked. Some customers also chop or grind them for soups, gravies, or sausage blends. They’re also a popular choice for those feeding a raw or homemade pet diet . Many raw feeders include gizzards as a lean, protein-rich addition to their dog or cat’s food rotation. Our poultry is processed in small batches. These gizzards are raw, whole, and frozen — no seasoning, no fillers. Frequently Asked Questions Q: What do gizzards taste like? They’re firmer than muscle meat, with a mild but rich flavor.
