Beeswax Wrap - Pack of 3 sizes

Tell me more about these beeswax wraps Our beeswax wraps are exactly the sort of thing we can't resist — simple, clever, and quietly doing a good job without making a fuss about it. We're always on the lookout for eco-friendly swaps that  improve everyday life, and these slipped into the range as if they've been here all along. Let's be honest, most of us have had a mild falling-out with cling film at some point. It sticks to itself, refuses to cover the bowl properly, and somehow ends up everywhere except where it's needed. These wraps have much better manners. Made from natural cotton and bee-friendly beeswax, they mould neatly around whatever you're trying to cover. And it's not just about being plastic-free. Beeswax has been used for centuries for its naturally antibacterial and antiviral properties, making it particularly well suited to storing food. It creates a breathable barrier that helps keep things fresh without sealing them in too tightly. In other words, it knows what it's doing. Where the beeswax comes from The beeswax itself comes from the Asian honeybee, Apis dorsata — often called the rock bee, and for good reason. These remarkable bees build enormous open honeycombs that can reach up to 1.5 metres across, usually suspended from cliffs or high tree branches. Harvesting the wax is no small feat; it's traditionally done by skilled local collectors who carefully gather sections of the comb by hand. It's a practice passed down through generations, entirely rooted Sold on Chimney Sheep® draught excluders and other sustainable solutions (https://chimneysheep.co.uk/products/beeswax-wrap-pack-of-3-sizes).
