Aster SDI Test Kit – Silt Density Index Kit

The Aster SDI Test Kit is a simple and effective testing device used to determine the Silt Density Index (SDI) of feed water before it enters a reverse osmosis (RO) system. Fine suspended and colloidal particles in feed water can accumulate on RO membranes and contribute to membrane fouling. The kit provides a convenient way to evaluate feed-water fouling potential by measuring the change in filtration time through a 47 mm, 0.45-micron filter paper . It is particularly useful for checking water quality at different points in a pretreatment system and helping operators assess the condition of water going to RO membranes. 🫗 Quick Highlights Designed for Silt Density Index (SDI) testing Helps assess the fouling potential of RO feed water Integral stainless-steel needle valve for pressure control Quick-release coupling for convenient multipoint sampling Built-in pressure gauge for monitoring test pressure Automatic air release valve Transparent polycarbonate body for easy observation Includes 500 ml sampling beaker Uses standard 47 mm, 0.45-micron filter paper Compact and convenient for RO plant operation and maintenance Sold on ARYA ION (https://aryaion.com/products/aster-sdi-test-kit-silt-density-index-kit).
