Amber Alchemist - Hojicha Powder

Dark Roasted Hojicha Powder with 96% less caffeine than matcha. Toasty, nutty, naturally sweet. The drink you make when you want something warm and calming without the energy hit. Toasty. Nutty. Warm. No Bitterness. This is a dark roast Hojicha, with stronger roasted and smoky notes. The flavour is warm and roasted, like toasted grains or lightly charred wood. There's a nuttiness underneath, similar to roasted almonds, and a natural sweet aftertaste that carries through without needing sugar. No bitterness and unharsh. The roasting process mellows everything out. In a latte, the flavour sits somewhere between a chocolate milk and a roasted tea. Pairs incredibly well with full-cream dairy, oat, soy and almond. For when you find it underwhelming, fix it by using more powder. Iced, it's light, refreshing, and slightly smoky. One of the easiest drinks to make and one of the hardest to stop drinking once you start. The texture is slightly denser than matcha powder. It settles faster in liquid, so give it a stir if it's been sitting. Tasting notes: Roasted, toasty warmth. Nutty (roasted almond). Light cocoa. Natural sweetness. Smoky finish. Body: Light. Warm and smooth, very approachable. Bitterness: None. Caffeine: About 96% less than matcha. Safe for evenings, caffeine-sensitive people, and children. Sold on Premium Ceremonial Matcha (https://greencaffeine.co/products/nutty-professor). The price shown is the retail price on that storefront on 2026-10-22, not a GreenB2B quote or a wholesale price.
